Leftists should stop dreaming about peace with Palestinians. It will not happen either today or on very distant tomorrow. Arabs states will not allow that because a Palestinian state in the West Bank would be (not will be) at least semi-democratic i.e. provide its citizens greater personal freedom than any Arabic state currently allows for. In addition, because Palestinians are the most educated among Arabs and have a lot of experience in industrial production (due to brutal Israeli occupation), this hypothetical Palestinian state would be much wealthier than the neighboring Arabic countries like Jordan, Syria and Egypt (Palestinians in the West Bank are at least three times wealthier than those in Jordan). Therefore, Palestinian state has absolutely no chance to appear as long as there is no other Arabic Democratic state.
