    Islamic fundamentalism is as old as Islam itself. Saudi Arabia does not allow anyone to visit Mecca and Medinna. Arab rejectionism is based essentially in Islam which is seen by its practitioners as asupremacist religion. The three no's of Khartoum were the result of this welding between Pan-Arab Nationalism and Islamism. Saddat paid with his life for supposed crime of making peace with Israel. He was killed by the Muslim Brotherhood, a fundamentalist Islamic group of which Hamas is a branch. It is easy to blame Netanyahu, since he is the only one that might be amanable to pressure. Obviously, the Islamists are not. They have goals in mind that are much more ambitious than simply the elimination of Israel. They want to take over the entire Middle East and to bring to its knees the West. Any compromise by Netanyahu has been made more difficult by the meddling of the US. However, let's not forget that Olmert had made very generous concessions to Abbas and he was rebuffed
