hey, i don't care if the player waved the Israeli flag or the palestinian one, but at least everyone in the world knows that this will be treated as politics, especially in the palestinian-israeli issue. i find the player stupid for committing such an act that he should've known, (as he plays in israel), will cause problems. we're in the world cup, there, NO place for politics. but to thank his israeli fans, he could've thank them in a press conference or wherever, not waving a flag in the field, i think he should've waved his own country flag instead. but anyway, he's not that innocent, "he wanted to thank the fans who traveled to see him play" come on he's more brilliant than that, honestly i'm sure he wanted to be rewarded, and how many ways to be rewarded.. (simply look at most people who wrote comments here, all asking for him to get a reward, and of all kinds) so he attended his goal obviously. i wonder if another player waved the palestinian flag what would you guys say??
