Settlements do not reflect the richness of Jewish culture or values. They are an intrusion propagated by government values. Settlements are about land, resources and security with a blindness to all else. Einstein once said a Jewish state with narrow values would do damage to Judaism. It is the settlements which represent that very infection which distorts the perception of Judaism.
