I applaud Gideon Levy, the moral giant of his generation, for pointing out the root causes of terrorism. For example, the cruel and totally unnecessary war against Afghanistan. The money that will be spent in London for the Olympic games. (It should be spent on aid to the countries where the freedom fighters come from, mainly Saudi Arabia.) The arrogance of Silvan Shalom. The ostentatious concert for Africa (I think that this arguments works on two counts: it should have been for Arab countries, not Africa, and it should not have involved music, which is un-islamic). The fact that Pakistan has a western-backed leader (what an outrage!). The fact that Muslim neighborhoods in Europe tend to be poorer (there should be a monthly state-allowance exclusively to Muslims in all Western countries, large enough to make the Muslim neighborhoods at least as rich as the non-Muslim ones, regardless of what their inhabitants do). That monstrous butcher, Bush, much worse than Osama. And, of course, the Isrtaeli occupation of Palestine. I will stop here, as I am too overcome with awe for the wisdom of this champion of freedom, justice and peace on earth. What a pity that he lives on stolen Palestinian land! The economic gap between rich and poor countries. (The people in the currently rich countries should continue to work and produce the goods, but the goods should be shared equally between all inhabitants of the planet.)
