Yes, Schwab is a coward for backpedalling so furiously. But anti-Zionism is too sweeping a thing to support at face value. After all, many Zionists support the renaissance of Jewish culture without wanting to hurt anyone. And a lot of them honestly don't understand what Israel does, and would not support what it does if they did. But stopping Israeli apartheid behooves all conscientious world citizens. And please don't give me the line that it's discriminatory to single out Israel for its crimes when Sudan does worse things. If Israel wants to be held up to the same standard as the Sudan, that's just pathetic. You should consider it a compliment that we expect better things of you. We identify with you. We see ourselves in you. And we don't apologize for wanting to knock some sense into you when you are pursuing policies that make a mockery of international law and standards of decency. Our Palestinian friends don't deserve to die for the sake of your denial.
