Are we going to admit liability for our actions against the first flotilla to try and breach the Gaza Blockade by offering our apologies for this action? If so, we have surrendered our sovereignty as a state defending itself from attack. This is like an open invitation for any number of flotillas who wish to come and breach the Gaza blockade to do so. What does this type of capitulation do to our image in the worlds press? An admission of guilt of this nature weakens our case against the Goldstone commission too! Are we going to emulate the "peace in our time" disaster that destroyed Neville Chamberlain over WW2.? Where does the buck stop now?
