Anyone reading the Indian press the day it happened understood that the target was not the Chabad house. Anyone reading the Israeli press that same day was breathlessly told that the 'Indian police' were indicating it was. The "Indian police' were doing nothing of the sort. The incident reveals a serious problem with systematic paranoia which Israel is suffering from in recent years. Convincing oneself that they are the target of a conspiracy so vast there is no evidence aside from one's own fears is pathological. Such is not good practice for individuals or nations. A bit of introspection and self-restraint is good counsel.
