Danite: I will set forth my answer to why, all of a sudden, General (Prime Minister) Ariel Sharon has turned on the Jewish residents of Gush Katif, and is planning to evict those residents, my brothers and sisters, from their long-established residences and businesses. For your information, Israel is not an independent country. Israel has not been an independent country in many years, and ever since Israel abandoned the Abu Rhodeis oil fields in the Sinai. Former Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir found out that Israel was not an independent country in 1990, when the loan guarantees to Israel were withdrawn by the father of President George W. Bush. In fact, the father of President George W. Bush openly supported General Yitzhak Rabin against Yitzhak Shamir in 1990. I am not saying that it is easy to be a Prime Minister of Israel, and, in fact, I would not want the job. Prime Minister Sharon is trying to hold on to the major communities in the Shomron and Judea districts of Eretz Israel. Whether or not he will be successful in accomplishing this, I do not know. Nonetheless, I strongly oppose the eviction of the Jewish inhabitants of Gush Katif, and it is my opinion that it will, if carried out, ethnic cleansing.
