Abraham Fox never misses a chance to grab the limelight. Perhaps a dose of reality may open his eyes. Yes, there are anti-Semites in America. But putting it in context, there is anti-Semitism everywhere and it is not a new phenomenon. However, the truth of the matter is that Jews in America have flourished and enjoy the good life in this country. Why doesn't Mr. Foxman talk about the other 85% Americans who are not anti-Semites. Furthermore, what about the Jews who in spite the alleged 15% of anti-Semites enjoy unprecedented professional and economic progress in the USA. The 15% surely didn't stop those who wanted to progress and succed. 14% of the physicians in the U.S. where the Jewish population comprises 2% is nothing to sneeze at. There is no rule that mandates that 100% of the population must be philo-Semite. Finally, Jews like any other group has its own prejudices against gentiles. A dose of reality and candor would be rather refreshing.
