Please take a look at the 2009 election results.The Israeli public voted by and large for right-wing parties composed of right wing politicians. Bibi is arguably on the left end of the Likud. Kadima also has a good number of members that are right wing. There is nothing fringe about the right. It is the what Israeli public wants.
