Dear Sal Azam, Please do not make generalized comments about left overs of Stalin and Lenin, etc, (since most Israelis are Mizrahi Jews that are from the Middle East, not from the arctic climates (also Stalin himself was as antisemitic as Hitler), and please let us focus on the local issue: HOW can we make peace and prevent the situation from getting worse: I personally would make a lot of sacrifices in terms of land, if only Hezballah and the Hamas government, and also the new leader of Iran, are willing to recognize the existence of Israel as legitimate. But the current constitution of Hezballah, and also Hamas, is very honest and frank about their philosophy: in their book, ONLY a temporary cease-fire is acceptable, which would merely be a temporary thing to acquire enough strength to completely replace Israel with their own territory. Not one inch of land is alloated to Jews in their book. Not the 1967 borders, not even the 1949 borders. Please understand the difficulty.
