Tafakji is the PA's head geographer, he is an official of the Palestinian Authority. Since when did the Israeli state's authority run to gagging members of the PA admin? Funny, I can't find that bit is Oslo... As the head geographer, one would think he would be very important to any indirect negotiations and would in particular be needed abroad to present the PA's side to the USA state department, the EU and so on. Ahhh, so there we have it - Israel using police power illegally - as it has no authority in Area A - to gag its political opponents. Security considerations' my backside! When 'Dr' Brnd and Tomy from New York are clapping enthusiastically, you can tell that there's something badly wrong. What a vile little police state Israel has turned into, the Albania of the 60s and 70s. How far it has slipped from the pedestal. The international representations and condemnation will be coming in as we speak.
