Mr. Sharon, a man who IN DEED, released Gaza to the Palestinians, is now being blamed for the the shortcomings of the Palestinians who simply don't know what the term peaceful coexistence means (between us and between themselves). And of course, we therefore have to blame the occupation, and naturally must blame Mr. Sharon for all their shortcomings. But Akiva, we left Gaza, didn't we? Should we have stayed there and prolonged the occupation? Either way Mr. Sharon ends up being the bad guy and the poor defenseless Palestinians are simply the innocent bystanders of the apartheid- promoting policies of Israel. Right? So we are to blame if we maintain the occupation and we are to blame if we leave Gaza, right? When will Haaretz start treating the Palestinians as a people who ultimately are responsible for their actions and to stop blaming Israel for all their very numerous shortcomings?
