Yael Patir, Israel director of the left-leaning U.S. Jewish body, sat down with Haaretz to talk about Trump, the gap between U.S. and Israeli Jews, and the growing anger at the Israeli peace camp. Since when did "tikun olam" (as only they interpret it, of course) become the central tenet of Judaism? Is that all this confused little girl learned in her Hebrew Day School about Judaism? Did she not learn not to judge her fellow man until she stands in his or her shoes? How about voting with her feet rather than just her mouth and moving to Israel and protesting there--maybe then she would have some legitimacy. As it stands, all she accomplishes is providing fodder to anti-Semites and Israel-bashers. As for her own credibility, she has none.
