Freedom of speech, needs to have its boundaries. Where one's freedom of speech can result in causing grave damage to others, then this so called freedom can justly be curtailed. If one uses his academic freedom to incite murder for example, is clearly a transgression against the greater good. This person deserves a prison sentence. If one uses his academic freedom to incite the boycotting of the very institution that provides him a platform to express his views, he is hurting not only himself, but others within the institution that harbor him. This person should lead by example, and resign from the institution that he/she so is so venomously attacking. Otherwise, I would have no moral qualms about this person having their salary cut, and being forcibly removed.
