What is missing from Livni's comments are demands on the Palestinians. I for one, cannot begin to support any politician who cannot find it within themselves to make significant demands on, and call for significant compromises from the Palestinians. The calls for Israel will do this, and Israel should do that, show a dangerous disconnect from reality. There will only ever be peace if the Palestinians are ready to share the most significant places together will real guarantees for security and long term peace.
