...Because this one-stater attitude is precisely the reason why the BDS omvement is a patsy for antisemites the world over. The problem is that the good ethical radical left that is advocating one-statism seems willfully to ignore that their objective conveniently coincides with the objective of the people who want ethnically to cleanse Israel of Jews, which the very threat to which Israelis have historically reacted- and perhaps are currently over-reacting, the very threat on which hangs the Israeli lynchpin of the Arab-Israeli conflict. Because unfortunately, the one-state solution does not mean Jews sharing a state with the good ethical secular far-left liberals. What the one-state solution ultimately means is providing a pathway for the destruction of the only Jewish sovereign entity in the world. Even Norman Finkelstein understands that. And every Israeli undestands it as well. The one-state solution will be good for the day that an International Bund runs the entire Middle East. Perhaps that day will come, but it is not here yet.
