If the majority did not support Olmert's overtures to the Kahanist from Moldova, they would have elected Meretz. They would have opened their eyes wide enough to realise that Olmert is out for himself and nothing if not a political manipulator. There has not been one iota of movement toward initiating a aprocess that will lead to bilateral negotiations. Au contraire, there have only been harline statements regarding the will to hold onto territory "eternally". There has been all during his tenure, and certainly before it a concerted effort to radicalise Palestine, both WB & Gaza, destabilise the situation, then claiming there is no one to talk to and Israel doesn't need to meet any of its commitments to the USA because there is no one to talk to. Same old cyclical argument to get bushie off their backs. Condy drops by for a few minutes and the Karni crossing opens up for a few hrs until she's back at her piano in DC.And dead man Kahane sees new life in Olmert/Lieberman
