It is true Bernard Lewis is pretty much a geriatric crack-pot, and should really be "retired" from academia and public life as he as tremendous influence on the geriatric crack-pots in the Bush Administration. Further, the author of this article fails to point out the G.W. Bush and about 60million other Americans share the same apocaplyptic world view as is alleged the Iranians have. So far they haven't used their nukes to hasten the coming of Christ but one shouldn't rule out the possibility. It is clear from Iran's actions after the Ceasefire that they are behaving in a classically rationalist manner for a state, which can be used to deduce that they will most likely continue to behave in such a manner once they have consolidated the political ground they have gained, even with nukes. Remember when US normalised ties with China and all the right-wing idealogues went into overdrive about "Yellow skinned Commies" taking over the world? It didn't happen. China has no interest (cont 2nd)

from the article: Let them have nukes
