    What does this mean? Do you know? I don't? I tend to think that a country against which there is a significant body of evidence which shows that it tries to stifle criticism of the state cannot be automatically taken at face value when it uses this argument for barring someone from entering the country. Do I take it at face value that Israel is as it proclaims to be - a liberal, free democratic society within which all its citizens receive equal treatment? No! Not because of prejudice or bias but because I could furnish so much evidence that shows the opposite.
