Someone on this thread has suggested that the reason for the boycott is to protect British journalists working in the PAm especially Gaza, and especially in view of the kidnapping/murder of Alan Johnston. This is a logical suggestion, as in the past several years, since the Intifada began, foreign journalists and photographers have been known not to be too candid in reporting events from these areas, for fear of not being allowed to work there in the future, or, worse, for fear of physical harm.
