Hamas may have told Israel it isn’t looking for another war in Gaza, but it’s clearly desperate to advance its attack tunnels. It’s also delighted to be sowing seeds of discontent and concern among the Israeli public.04:19 13.02.16 | 0 comments
You emphasize in this story that a "majority" of Egyptians are for maintaining peace with Israel. However in your story about Itamar, you emphasize that 32% of Palestinians approve of what happened. So the question is this: why is it that the 32% of Palestinians who approve of the Itamar violence are worthy of a mention, but the 40% of Egyptians who oppose peace with Israel are not? Would I be too cynical in concluding that the Itamar statistic paints the Palestinians in a bad light, whereas the Egypt statistic is positive for Israel? Surely Haaretz would not sink to such coarse propaganda!
