including its own - which so many of you choose to deny: "you must act in order to gain popular support, which is the backbone for every Islamic movement". And what fuels "popular support"? Among other things, a common antagonism. And what is the common antagonism shared by virtually all Muslims? Israel's occupations and oppression of the Palestinians, and western support of Israel; led by the United States. And how does this affect international security? Al-qaida & company rely on this antagonism to recruit new members by portraying themselves as saviors who are battling the demons behind this great injustice to their fellow Muslims; even though they could actually care less about the Palestinian struggle, and the Palestinians themselves, with very few exceptions, go to great lengths to disassociate their cause from that of the global jihadists.
