A mortar shell was fired at soldiers carrying out an operational activity near the border, no injuries or damage sustained; security cabinet set to convene to discuss string of attacks.09:40 06.05.16 | 0 comments
Everybody who is a little bit objective knows that the worlds overreacts when Israel lifts a finger to defend itself. That doesn't mean that israeli leaders and generals should not take this into account when launching an operation such as the one on the gaza flotilla. Why not use stun guns and grenades? Why not use specially trained troops and not war commandos? From this operation we can learn two things: poor intelligence as to which weapons were on board. Wrong use of force and lack of proper weapons on the israeli side. I is time that isrel learns its lesson: the one with the gun will always be wrong whatever really happens. But no, it is more comfortable to think that the world hates Israel whatever its actions. And this this is why people like me, who have lived in Israel and served in the israeli infantry no longer fight to explain the israeli side: we are tired of this arrogant israeli attitude.
