The palestinian Mufti of Jerusalem, al-Husseini and arafat's alleged uncle, lived in Nazi Germany and made - in addition to his many pro-Nazi actions - numerous radio broadcasts from Germany into the Arab world calling for Arabs to kill Jews and assist the Nazi war machine. I would be interested in what the Arab press wrote about these broadcasts. I am sure they weren't ignored by the Arab world. The palestinian-nazi connection is one generally overlooked and forgotten yet its repercussions are still with us today. As for Hitler, he was popular with much of the German public and his anti-Semitism was reflected in the anti-Semitism that existed throughout Europe. What is chilling is not Hitler's fan mail but the British Government?s refusal to allow doomed Jews to migrate to Palestine and thus keeping them in Europe and sealing their fate.
