I hope that some good comes of this awakening of political interest because much needs to change in Israel. Israel like the U.S. has to realise that war should only ever be the last resort. Israel like the U.S. has to understand that no amount of sophisticated weaponry and military mite is of much use in modern warfare. Israel lost the war last summer by being arrogant enough to believe she had what it takes to bring her enemy to its knees. Likewise the U.S. still refuses to accept it has lost in Iraq. Blair was stupid enough to have followed Bush and he knows it is futile even if he won't admit it yet. The only way forwards is through diplomacy because the alternative would destroy the whole planet and every one on it. The day of the bomb has to end. All countries have to address what is wrong with their policies, we need to get to the root cause of so much hatred and deal with it fairly. Truly strong leaders can deal fairly with each other and find solutions to most problems.
