Make no mistake, together with Israels treatment of the Palestinians, it has become by far the main (if not the only) reason, why Gentiles do have a negative view about the Jewish religion. I wouldn't wanna know, how many animal-lovers, who clicked on the PETA website, and saw the horrible animal-abuse at Agriprocessors, started to get negative feelings about the Jewish religion. While it is disputed, whether the killing itself is cruel, there is no doubt, that the animal is suffe- ring tremendous stress before the kosher slaughtering, and that it is pretty much impossible to do a correct kosher slaughtering in a big slaughterhouse. What I said here of course applies in exactly the same way to the Muslim "halal" slaughtering....
