Mr. Oz if only there were more people like you in Israel I would feel better. When I came to Israel in 1948 I was young and thought we would show the world how to run a country.I remember though when lving in Jerusalem near Meah Sharim how the road was closed every Friday and young Haredim threw stones at people wanting to see the Mandelbaum crossing, I wrote a letter to the Jerusalem Post explaiining if these hoolignas weren't stopped now they would grow stronger. Little did I think how true this was. Israel today is not the country I dreamed of. We have lost our way and it started after the 6 day war when our success went to our head and all that seems to matter is money, we have forgotten to help people and that saddens me, especially for our future generations. I would like to thank you because you represent a different type of Israeli one thinks our neighbours who also have a right to live and maybe we can teach them how to do that instead of killing to reach out a peaceful hand to us and accept us as well.
