Amira-as an outsider, I just do not get what you are trying to tell me. I do not understand why a disengagement from Israel, witha re orientation towards Egypt is so bad for the Palestineans. It certainly lessens their dependance on Israel, which should be something that by your previous articles should be good. Why is this an imposition on the lives of Egyptian citizens? Are you implying that Egyptians for some reason do not want to develop economic and trade ties with the Palestineans? Why does the Israeli voter have no right in "scorning" a decision of the international community? Are you implying that Israeli citizens have no or little democratic rights to decide on their future? If alternative sources of trade are allowed to develop with Egypt-then Gaza has less reason to worry about closures due to "security fears". All in all a very confusing article-a bit of whimsy really.
