Trtu be told, from 1890 until the mid-1930's, Jews have bought land all over Palestine. Actually purchased, not to mention the other land that was owned in Hebron and Gush Katif that was abandoned and never returned due to the riots of 1936-37. You fail to note that at the time, small land owners were threatened by death not to sell land to Jews, which jacked the price up nicely. Who was one of the major landowners in the region? Just happened to be families related to al-Husseini. What was acknowledged by British and Ottoman records are the many Palestinians that worked on the lands as serf farmers and not actual land owners. What you can't stand to admit is that Palestine is really from the Jordan River to the deserts of Iraq and Saudi Arabia. But oyu knew that, didn't you? It appears we'll be here forever, so enjoy the weather in London.
