Egypt never owned the Sinai, and Syria never legally owned the olan. They occupied these areas in a very small way,to a very small degree. Israel took them both in a defensive war. So they are the legal rulers, at least until diplomatic negotiations decide otherwise.Since the Arabs keep wanting to go to war, not to get this land, but to massacre every Jew,and they keep losing,I believe that this legally only cements the possession of these lands by Israel. The Golan was originally part of the Jewish homeland, illegally given to the Syrian landmass,by Britain, who had no disposal rights to do so, and the Sinai was ALWAYS,for hundreds of years, part of the Turkish Empire, who gave Egypt the "administrative" rights [so they could exercise their army] but SPECIFICALLY,by document, RETAINED the SOVEREIGN rights for the Turkish Empire. It was never allotted or awarded to anyone by the League of Nations, because they couldn't find any population there to vote on independence.
