The US Jewish community is no longer made up of the post WW2 baby boomers. There is a whole new generation moving into leadership positions in the community and they are not of the same mind "support Israel no matter who is in power" as their parents. Most supported Obama's campaign, are thrilled with the changes he is attempting to make both here and in the world and do not accept business as usual with Israel. In this day and age where news 24-7 on-line, responsive, and interactive young American Jews are increasingly objective about world affairs. Although most Americans support Israel when polled, this is not written in stone.Chances are young Jews care more about Tibet or Haiti than Israel and they certainly don't accept Netanyahu's style of "diplomacy", which is mainly based on insult, stagnation and lack of any desire to promote a positive agenda for the region. Many will not support this kind of behavior and indeed do want a fairer deal for the Palestinians.Israel's not #1 for many.
