Yael Patir, Israel director of the left-leaning U.S. Jewish body, sat down with Haaretz to talk about Trump, the gap between U.S. and Israeli Jews, and the growing anger at the Israeli peace camp. Though she concedes boycott efforts by some on the left have a negative effect, she rejects calls to keep peace efforts local.01:12 01.05.16 | 4 comments
Before the 1967 War , Gaza was Egyptian controlled territory. It was offered back to Egypt as part of the peace agreement betweeen them and Israel. Egypt said we'll take back the Sinai...you can have Gaza. Why did Egypt not want Gaza ? Today Gaza is 100% Jew free. Israel controls the ins and outs except the smuggling. When the Palestinians accept Israel and stop shooting, then and only then can the two groups talk about Gaza taking control of their own ins and outs. Then and only then will they be able to control their air space and waterways. They can attempt to be freedom fighters. They WILL continue to lose.
