The "security state" model has never fit the US constitution, or the global freedoms that constitution inspired. Don't look to Obama for help in resolving any conflicts until America breaks free of the shackles of "security first" mindedness, security above liberty mindedness. Liberty is far more precious than any security. Liberty cost the lives of heroic patriots of every freedom loving country, and will demand more such sacrifice. To put security first, Israeli style, is an obscene sell-out to the enemies of freedom. Homeland Security is such an obscenity. So is US foreign policy which cowtows to the same principles which set up Homeland Security. Obama, set your house in order. Israel, set your house in order. Palestinians, keep on marching forward in faith, doing the right and courageous thing.
