Yael Patir, Israel director of the left-leaning U.S. Jewish body, sat down with Haaretz to talk about Trump, the gap between U.S. and Israeli Jews, and the growing anger at the Israeli peace camp. Though she concedes boycott efforts by some on the left have a negative effect, she rejects calls to keep peace efforts local.01:12 01.05.16 | 3 comments
The United States contributed $26 billion worth of non military aid dollars globally last year to over 150 countries. I think they do a helluva lot of good throughout the world, contrary to what many in the Islamic think or have been indoctrinated to think. The US saved Europe’s bacon several times. The truth is, they are maligned in many cases quite unfairly. They never colonized Japan, they never colonized Germany and they probably could have …but they were truly benevolent victors, unlike many others in history, and were hoping to make the world better. How about the Iraq war where every leftist claimed, without any verification I might add, that Bush went in for the oil.. yet; once saddam was gone and with the oil industry there now back online, America actually got the least out of all of the tenders and bids that went out publicly for the Iraqi oil contracts…yes, that’s right…go see for yourself…the top countries getting oil from Iraq now are “Once”Great Britain(BP), France(SA Total), Russia(Gazprom and Lukoil), China, Malaysia. Isn’t that a drag for leftist that these kinds of FACTS just get in the way of their conspiracy theories. Don’t ya just hate that? LOL Israel by and large deserves its share of American assistance in comparison to any of the rest of the 150 countries they give to. Singling out specifically israel for what they receive is an old canard and in fact, IS anti semitic. Its all part of the delegitimization attempt.
