    Does that not indicate a seriousness about recognizing Israel's existence and the Palestinians support this proposal ? You failed to mentioned this. Second, all these terrorist organizations came into being as a result of Israel's failed policy of not negotiating seriously with the PLO in the 1970s, and 1980s. Third, in 2000, there was representation by the PLO on behalf of all the Palestinians during the Camp David negotiations with the Clinton Administration. There was no agreement on Jerusalem and the issue of the refugees, but closer than not negotiating. Fourth, during the Olmert-Abbas peace negotations of 2008, the gaps between the two sides narrowed even more, and perhaps with months following, an agreement may have developed. So, in short, to really blame the Palestinians on disunity really doesn't cut it as there's greater inunity on the Israeli side, which explains the Israeli government's negligence in proposing a peace deal.
