Am I missing something? I thought Hamas and Hezbollah were terrorist organizations dedicated to not only "wipe [Israel] off the map" on behalf of Iran, but also to the annihilation of the Jewish people. Why has this newspaper chosen the inaccurate descriptions of "an Islamic militia" and "a Palestinian Islamist party"? Does it somehow make Haaretz more "objective" to choose these phrases? Even the most liberal of newspapers elsewhere have the honesty, if not to call them what they are outright, to at least mention that the entire Western world recognizes them as terrorist organizations.
