Peace treaties or no peace treaties we need a modern military. We can spend 20 years negotiating a peace treaty but then one day one side decides they want to tear up that treaty and make war and if you don't have an army to defend yourself then you loose. Any potential future palestinians state will be unarmed so of course they would never be a match for a country with a military if invaded. In Israel we never want to be in the situation where we can be attacked and unable to defend ourselves so we must always continue to invest in the military no matter who we make peace with. Must always prepare for the worst and hope for the best and certainly unmanned vehicles will have an increasing role to play same way mechanical vehicles eventually replaced the horse. Humans will always be part of part of the picture but more and more roles will be replaced by unmanned vehicles, objects to work for humans rather than replace them, don't see any terminators taking over from humans anytime soon.
