Rabbinic human rights group T’ruah calls for transparency on donor money spent on settlements.17:48 08.10.15 | 1 comments
So Bibi says the gaza pullout strengthened HAMAS, as does Beilin. Problem is, their reasoning is irresolvable: Beilin seems to think it was because it was unilateral, unnegotiated. Bibi thinks so because any withdrawal is a reward for terror. Turns out, from these perspectives, Israel can't withdraw, period, by any means -- unilaterally or otherwise!! So what's the solution, here? Annexation? Re-deployment? Re-settlement? The settlement policy obviously didn't work so well in Gaza over the last 39 years...So let's review: Israel 1) can't withdraw unilaterally, 2) can't withdraw through negotiation, and 3) can't annex or reoccupy. THERE IS SIMPLY NOTHING TO BE DONE. ...which is why the only solution is to put up the fence and guard it well.
