The allegation that Israel "refuses" to punish extremist settlers becasue it supports these acts is pretty dramatic. (or as you might say, DRAMATIC). Attacking a place of worship is abhorant and sick, so your allegation, if true, would be pretty serious. But is it true? Has a Jewish settler been apprehended? If so, who? If not, what steps should have been taken to apprehend the criminal that were not taken? If steps were not taken, who was responsible for the failure to take those steps and what is their connection to the Israeli government? If you do not have the answers to any of these questions, then I submit that all you have is a pre-existing prejudice against Israel and a tendency to assume vast, sweeping and secret conspiracies to explain your prejudices.
