Israel wants guaranteed funding for missile defense projects, while U.S. wants to phase out authorization for Israel to buy Israeli-made weapons and supplies with American security aid.23:11 03.05.16 | 0 comments
This is the real problem that Israel faces, anyone with a little cash can have weapons equal to or better than the weapons Israel has. This is a direct result of globalization and the Internet. In the past information moved slowly, but now every weapons maker has access to virtually all the latest technology and information. As a result, even if the US did not sell weapons to Arabs, others would (it is a buyers market). As for those that have posted about the "lack of quality" of non-US/Israel weapons, they should seriously rethink what is happening around the world today. China, Russia and India are becoming the technology leaders of the world and the US is slipping badly. The bottom line is ... IT IS IMPOSSIBLE for Israel to maintain weapons superiority any longer. Now, Israel will have to rely on diplomacy to continue to exist.
