The headlines this week reeked of déjà vu, reminiscent of previous confrontations and intifadas, as conditions on the ground in Gaza are becoming more and more similar to those that preceded the 2014 war.19:05 05.02.16 | 4 comments
This is a wrong interpretation of Genesis, rabbi. I am a gentile and I don't hate Jews. In fact, I went to Israel and served in the IDF and lived a few years on a kibbutz. The great love of my life is a Jew (he latter got married, that's life)and I visit Israel happily as often as I can. The situation should not be exaggerated. Jews don't stay Jews because of real and imagined hatred of them by others. Jews stay Jews because it is a great and wonderful thing to be born a Jew. A real blessing (altho not always easy)in my view. On the other hand, rabbi, I am currently reading a book 'Jesus in The Talmud'. Oi vey!!!
