I made Aliyah with my family 3 months ago through the Jewish Agency and it was mostly an efficient streamlined process but had a couple of hiccups. The absorption process has also been handled well so far from Ulpan, to Sal Klita to assistance with placement in schools and in navigating requirements at the municipality. I must say however that it's not a process that operates on autopilot but requires on to continually research and be proactive about pursuing the benefits offered to Olim. So far, I have no complaints as to how the Agency or the Ministry of Absorption handles the process. If NBN did in fact improve the process by showing up JAfi at some point, then it has all worked out for the better. A bit of healthy competition never hurts. Now what about a few other government agencies?
