The need to preempt Iran and export gas to Egypt was the reason the government gave to push through its controversial plan for Israel's natural gas. Now, this reason may no longer exist.08:52 31.08.15 | 1 comments
I'm trying to chat, not bring up political talking points. People spend generations building a home, it is not for governments to take away. You say the Arabs left, why were they fighting? Me and you don't know what happened? We don't know what the original Jews in the Mandate of Palestine wanted. We don't know the mentality of the Jews driven out of Germany in the 30's. We don't know all these things, and history books are going to be vague on this. Israel should apologize for not letting them come home. That's it. (In typical Arab fashion, that is the first step to peace, and then the Arab will apologize for something, whether he did it or not.) Hitler can't blame Jewish Citizens of Germany for the statements and policies of the Zionist movement. And Israel cannot blame Arab Citizens of Israel for the remarks and statements made by foriegn Arabic nations. I don't understand why it is so hard for Israelis to recognize the absolute tragedy of 1948.
