Interesting point of view but totally wrong comparison. YOu forgot the simple fact that Jerusalem is an occupied city. This is not me who says this, it is all international laws that apply and all security council resolutions and even Israelis with government positions recognise that. Syria did not occupy the country and took it from the Jews. Yemen also did not do that. In fact, to date and i was there myself, the Jewish propert in Iraq is still protected. This was the case during the Saddam regime who was allegedly an enemy of Israel and to this date with a so called Iran supported government. The Jewish homes and Palestine street is still full of Jewish homes and property that was not affected by all wars. I would invite you Alfred to come visit Jerusalem and see by yourself the discrimination before comments are easily made from Sydney.
