So you are telling the Palestinians that they can reconquer Palestine if only they manage to acquire the force of arms - with the rise of independent Islamic states (don't forget nuclear-armed Pakistan) and the historical decline of the USA quite feasible in the coming decades? The main differences between the Israeli case and the others is a) it was within living memory, i.e. some of the direct victims are still alive, b) Israel is still pursuing its settlement policy, building on occupied land. As you can see from the Arab Peace Initiative, and the PLO's recognition of Israel, they are ready to swallow the bitter pill - but not to accept continued Israeil expansion. Would you in their place? Making peace with the 1967 borders may be Israel's last chance. Don't throw it away.
