Even the UN agrees that the arabs were the aggressors in 1967 not Israel and capturing all that territory was perfectly legal under the rules of war and the occupation is not illegal. Resolution 242 talks about return of territories ( not all territory ) in exchange for a just and lasting peace and that means negotiation and so far whilst we have had many negotiations with the arabs we have been unable to reach agreement and negotiations doesn't mean arabs demand we give unilaterally. Its about both finding a deal thats the worst of all worlds ( both sides hate it but both can grudgingly accept it ). Sure Israel overflies Lebanon but Hezbollah is rearming and Israel is gathering intelligence and reminding Hezbollah not to start another ( a war that then Secretary General to the UN condemned Hezbollh for provoking a war, all blame lied at their feet and this is UN Secretary General who was well know to be very pro arab.. Iran intended their drone to get shot down, it was a sacrifice to test ifIsrael's air defences. If you want factual information I suggest you read something other than the Guardian

from the article: Ban Ki-moon: Hezbollah's launch of Iranian drone into Israel could lead to regional war
