Akiva, don't forget that Labor ruled throughout the 90s during the Oslo peace process and settlements grew by 300%! There were no suicide bombings until 1996, Hamas' support in Gaza represented 10-20% of the population, and the PA practically absolved Israel of all its responsibility as occupier without the Palestinians getting anything in return. And we know what Likud's stance on the peace process has been. Seems to me that the Palestinians do have a point - nothing works with Israel! There is always an excuse of why not to move ahead with the process that everyone knows needs to happen to guarantee independence, security, and stability for everyone in the region.
