AIPAC, like J-street is a private foreign organization. As such, it has no authority in Israel or the USA. Nor can either demand to be in meetings between Israeli government members and members of US congress. Both have different points of view. One is more aligned with Israel's right wing. The other is more aligned with American middle or the road views and Israeli left views. Both are American domestic registered Lobbying groups. One is more aligned with the current government of the USA.
